Universal Catholic Media began with a simple desire: to make it easier for people to pray.
Our YouTube channel, Universal Catholic Media: Rosary & Prayer Guides, offers guided video prayers drawn from the treasury of the Catholic Church – the Holy Rosary prayed with Scripture, the great litanies, chaplets, novenas, daily prayers, devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and prayers asking the intercession of St Joseph, St Michael, and the saints. Thousands of people from around the world have prayed along with us – in the morning before work, in hospital rooms, during sleepless nights, in seasons of grief and seasons of gratitude.
This website exists to support that prayer. Here you will find every prayer from the channel with its video, the full prayer text, a little background on each devotion, and suggestions for when and how to pray it. Wherever possible, we note the source of each prayer so you can pray with confidence that these are the authentic prayers of the Church’s tradition.
We are not a parish, and this site is not a substitute for the sacraments or for the life of your local Catholic community. Prayer is not a transaction, and we make no promises of particular outcomes – only this: God hears, and no prayer is wasted. Our hope is simply to be a quiet companion for your prayer life.
