The Golden Arrow
May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable,
most incomprehensible and unutterable Name of God
be forever praised, blessed, loved, adored,
and glorified in heaven, on earth, and under the earth,
by all the creatures of God,
and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ
in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.
O Jesus, through the merits of your Holy Face, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
When to Pray This Prayer
On Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday, on Fridays, and in reparation for blasphemy and irreverence.
About This Prayer
This prayer, called the Golden Arrow, was given through Sister Marie of St Peter in the nineteenth century and was warmly promoted by the Venerable Leo Dupont and later by St Therese of Lisieux.
