How to Pray the Chaplet
Begin with the Sign of the Cross and an act of love: Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in you.
On each of the beads
Sweet Heart of Jesus,
be my love.
Some pray thirty-three invocations, one for each year of the earthly life of Our Lord, while meditating on his love.
To conclude
O most holy Heart of Jesus,
fountain of every blessing,
I adore you, I love you,
and I give you my heart.
Make it humble, patient, and pure,
and wholly obedient to your will.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in you. Amen.
