Saint Charbel Makhlouf, the hermit-monk of Lebanon, is one of the great wonder-workers of the Church, and thousands of healings have been reported through his intercession at his tomb in Annaya. This prayer turns to him with confidence for healing of body and soul.

Prayer to Saint Charbel

Lord, infinitely holy and glorified in your saints, you inspired Saint Charbel, the holy monk, to live and to die in perfect union with you. You granted him the strength to detach himself from the world, so that the heroic virtues of poverty, obedience, and chastity might triumph in his hermitage. Grant us, we pray, the grace of loving and serving you, following his example.

Almighty God, who have manifested the power of Saint Charbel’s intercession through his countless miracles and favours, grant us (mention your request). Saint Charbel, heal our physical and spiritual illnesses, and protect us from every danger, seen and unseen. Thank you for your constant intercession and loving presence; help us to live always in the love of Christ our Saviour. Amen.
