This nine-day novena entrusts your intentions to the Mother who said, “Am I not here, I who am your Mother?”

The Daily Prayer
Remember, O most gracious Virgin of Guadalupe, that in your apparitions on Mount Tepeyac you promised to show your compassion and pity toward all who love and trust in you, and who seek your help and call upon you in their necessities and afflictions. You promised to hear our prayers, to dry our tears, and to give us consolation and relief. Never has it been known that anyone who sought your protection was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, we come to you, O Virgin of Guadalupe, Mother of the True God. Hear our prayer and grant our request (mention your intention). Obtain for us the grace of keeping our faith, a firm hope amid the bitterness of life, burning charity, and the gift of final perseverance. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mystical Rose, pray for us. Amen.

The novena is traditionally prayed December 3 to December 11, ending on the eve of her feast on December 12.
About Our Lady of Guadalupe
In December 1531, on the hill of Tepeyac near Mexico City, the Blessed Virgin appeared to Saint Juan Diego, a humble indigenous convert, speaking to him in his own language and calling him “my little son.” As a sign, she left her image on his tilma, still preserved after nearly five centuries. In the years that followed, millions of the native peoples were baptized. Her image and her tender words continue to draw the whole continent to Christ.
