The Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ,
you went about doing good
and healing all who were sick.
Lay your hands upon me now,
and upon all who are suffering,
that we may be made whole in body, mind, and spirit.
Free us from all that harms us,
calm our fears,
and strengthen us in faith.
If it be your will, restore us to health,
and give us grace to bear our sufferings
in union with your holy Passion.
For you are the Lord of life,
and you live and reign for ever and ever.
Amen.
