Saint Carlo Acutis (1991 to 2006) was an Italian teenager whose love for Jesus in the Eucharist earned him the title “God’s influencer.” A gifted young programmer, he used the internet to catalogue Eucharistic miracles from around the world, and he called the Eucharist his “highway to Heaven.” Canonized on 7 September 2025, he is the first millennial saint and a patron for the young. His feast day is 12 October.

Official Prayer for the Intercession of Saint Carlo Acutis
Oh God, our Father, thank you for giving us Carlo, a life example for the young and a message of love for everyone. You made him become enamoured with your Son Jesus, making of the Eucharist his “highway to Heaven.” You gave him Mary as a most loving Mother, and, with the Rosary, you made him a poet of her tenderness. Receive his prayer for us. Above all, gaze upon the poor, whom he loved and helped. Grant for me too, by his intercession, the grace that I need (mention your intention). And make our joy fulfilled, placing Carlo among the Saints of your Church, so that his smile may shine again for us in the glory of your name. Amen.

About Saint Carlo Acutis
Carlo Acutis was born on 3 May 1991 and grew up in Milan. Devoted to daily Mass and Eucharistic adoration from a young age, he built a website documenting Eucharistic miracles and was known for his cheerfulness, his care for the poor, and his quiet holiness. He died of leukaemia on 12 October 2006, at the age of fifteen, offering his sufferings for the Church and the Pope. He was beatified in Assisi in 2020 and canonized in 2025, becoming the first saint of the millennial generation. His body rests in the Sanctuary of the Renunciation in Assisi.
