The Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary (Sundays & Wednesdays)

The Glorious Mysteries lift our eyes from the Cross to the victory of Easter – the Resurrection, the Ascension, and the crowning of Our Lady. They are traditionally prayed on Wednesdays and on Sundays outside Advent and Lent.

The Five Glorious Mysteries

  1. The Resurrection (Luke 24:1-5) – Fruit: faith
  2. The Ascension (Mark 16:19) – Fruit: hope
  3. The Descent of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4) – Fruit: wisdom
  4. The Assumption (Luke 1:48-49) – Fruit: devotion to Mary
  5. The Coronation of Mary (Revelation 12:1) – Fruit: the grace of a happy death
