The Daily Prayer
O most Holy Virgin,
who was pleasing to the Lord
and became his Mother,
immaculate in body and spirit,
in faith and in love,
look kindly on me
as I implore your powerful intercession.
O most Holy Mother of God,
conceived without sin,
obtain for me from your Son
the grace I humbly ask of you,
(mention your request),
if it be for the greater glory of God
and the good of my soul.
O Mary, conceived without sin,
pray for us who have recourse to you. Amen.

About This Prayer
The Immaculate Conception was solemnly defined by Blessed Pope Pius IX in 1854. Four years later, at Lourdes, Our Lady confirmed it, saying: I am the Immaculate Conception.
